Eco Femme is a global women's empowerment
project promoting menstrual practices that are healthy, dignified,
affordable and eco positive.
We are looking for people like you to spread the word about eco-friendly
cloth pads made by women in rural South India. Currently, we are a team
of 11 ladies based inAuroville , Tamil Nadu,
including 7 women's self help group members from Auroville Village
Action Group . Now that we are stitching
about 1600 pads each month and have boxes of them in stock, we need your
help getting these pads to the women who need them! We are currently
distributing in India, U.S., UK and the Netherlands... but really
focusing on expanding our sales network within India!

Why washable cloth pads? Save money and preserve our earth - a single
washable cloth pad represents the equivalent of 120 disposable tampons
or pads being burned or thrown away over a 5 year period… you do the

Eco Femme cloth pads
are available in
3 sizes: pantyliner
(small),
day pad (medium) and
night pad
(large). If you
normally use pads, we recommend trying 2 day pads and 1 night pad to get
started. If you use tampons or a menstrual cup, we recommend trying a
pack of 3 pantyliners to get started. The pantyliners (with wings) are
great for absorbing overflow from your tampon or menstrual cup, light
flow and daily discharge.
