What are the other such small level student initiatives at other universities? It will be good to have a list of such groups in this thread.
DESI at UMD is one such group that we have previously looked at. http://www.studentorg.umd.edu/desi/
Another one that I came across: Sankalpa http://sankalpaindia.org/
Started as a student initiative at OSU, seems to have grown much beyond that. Now also has a Philadelphia chapter
