I am a post graduate in Social Work from Pt. Ravishankar shuka University Raipur, Chhattisgarh, having 10 years of experience working at district and sub district level. The different jobs which I undertook through these years provided me experience of working with the NGO and Government sector especially with district administration in Chhattisgarh.
Earlier I was working with Prakriti Resource Centre for Women and Development which is a Nagpur based organisation which is working 9 districts of CG, MH and MP ( Durg & Rajnandgaon district of Chhattisgarh, Balagat, Chindwara, Mandla districts of Madhya Pradesh and Nagpur, Akola, Chandrapur, Bhandra of Maharastra ) as a Gender fellow where adopted 3 Gram Panchayats and done various activities as per field requirements like from CBOs, Mobilise for work on Social issues and organise trainings etc from 2000 to 2002, worked as a SHG programme organiser in same organiser where I was responsible for organising trainings, training programme organise as per field requirements, evaluation of programme, conduct research and studies on Gender issue and documentation of trainings and prepare progress reports of project.
From Sept. 2004 to November 2004 worked as a Research Associate in Praxis India, Chhattisgarh where applied various participatory tools for Participatory Poverty Assessment. Worked as District project associate in ‘CARD’ a Bhopal based organised, under the World Bank project District Poverty Reduction Programme, where I was responsible for capacity building of CIG and PFT, from April 2005 to Oct. 2005 and worked as Free lancer with World Vision Bilaspur and Durg, where I was responsible for need assessment and wealth ranking of villages and capacity building of SGGs and field staffs and with Prakriti organise trainings under SHG project for field activist, coordinate training programmes, provide trainings to field staffs and PRI members and SHG members, prepare reports of trainings, monitoring and evaluation of programmes
From September 2007, I joined United Nations Volunteer and assume responsibility in Chhattisgarh Human Development Research & Coordination unit as Project Specialist (Gender). My main responsibility is to facilitate the Engendering component of the project work related to preparation of district Human Development Reports at eight districts of the state and project’s implementation and coordination with stake holders i.e. various district administration of the state of Chhattisgarh and from June 2010 to July 2011 worked as Team Co-ordinator in CG-HDRCU for replication of VIC and UWIC in Mahasumand district of Chhattisgarh. From August 2011 working as Technical Consultant with CG-HDRCU for making presentable District Human Development Report. Now i would like to work in Corporate Social Responsible.
