Paryavaran Pratham (A regd. NGO / CSO) in association of HVPM's College of Engineering & Technology, Amravati conducted  a workshop on Friday, 5th March 2010 @ COET Amravati. The topic for Workshop was "Disasters due to Global Warming and the Role of Citizens."
It was a half day workshop attended by students of the college, Faculties, and other interested people from Amravati.
Dr Madhukar Apte, Nagpur & Aprup Adawadkar, Pune given the presentations on the related topic. A film 'The Inconvenient Truth' is shown in the end of the program. The program was great success.

Dr Apte a retd Professior of Physics from SFS college Nagpur University elaborated the science of 'Global Warming' and its effects on the planet in recent years.

Mr Aprup Adawadkar, President of Paryavaran Pratham, made presentation on 'Sustainable Energy - Solution for the Future'.

The workshop was attended by students, faculties from the college, Citizens from Amravati in large number.
