Hope the new year has begun well. Writing to you about some activities we would like you to conduct for our school students. We have a link programme with the Queensbury School in Birmingham, established through the Global Partnership Project of the British Council. The schools are working on a common curriculum of Citizenship and Rights of the Child. We have already begun a study of this and Prachi, to whom this mail is copied will fill you in on more details.

 

What we would like you to work on is a day or two day long workshop with a focus on Rights of the Child. I feel ambitious enough to hope that the end of the 2 days would see a small script or film emerge out of your discussions and activities. The idea is to work on the topics in a creative way not the usual paper-pencil activity. Tentative dates 1st to the 15th of April, Bank Holidays and weekends excluded.  Though we normally offer activities to all students, here I feel one can have such a workshop for certain students.  Do get back to me hopefully at the earliest and we can work out details.
