A low-cost yet beautiful house. This house is not only low-cost, but also environment friendly and energy efficient.

exotic as the concept may be, I have my doubts about the practicality. How about structural stability in the face of the elements? Rain/storms, earthquake, fire, pests etc? And accessibility to civilization? This project is definitely not scalable enough to replace current housing practices, esp in high density (e.g. urban) areas.

These houses are definitely not viable in the urban centers. But in the rural areas, these can be definitely useful, especially in the hilly regions.

I also feel such houses can be built as a part of eco-tourism and lavish farmhouses.
