The Knight Foundation is looking for a Web 2.0 savvy marketing freelancer to help spread the word about the Knight News Challenge media innovation contest. Information about this freelance position is posted at http://www.newschallenge.org/contractor. The scope is 25 hours per week for $30 / hr, on monthly basis, from July 1 -September 30, 2008. It's on a contract-basis only and not an employed position. I have a feeling that Knight will be more comfortable with contracting somebody in the US.
