Role & Responsibilities


1.    Managing NGO Relations

a.    Responsible for building a credible network of NGO partners

b.    Understand the need of the NGOs and provide appropriate volunteers to meet those needs

 

2.    Managing Volunteer Relations

a.    Proactively get volunteers to register with us

b.    Understand the constraints of each volunteer and provide appropriate volunteering opportunities

c.     Documenting/Reporting on volunteering opportunities and the volunteer experience

 

3.    Managing Corporate Relations

a.    Prospect, initiate and engage Corporate/Educational Institutions in a productive association

b.    Understand the requirements of the corporate and provide a customized solution to meet those requirements

c.     Grow the relation by pre-empting and fulfilling client requirements

d.    Organize events to further the cause of volunteering

 

4.    Others

a.    Assisting with activities aimed at promoting volunteering and brand building

b.    Work with the larger team at iVolunteer as and when needed

c.     Manage the documentation and finances as required.

d.    Manage information on website(s) as required.

 


Job specification


Qualifications


Essential: Graduate

Desirable: MSW or similar academic/ training programs


Prior Experience


  Minimum 2 years; Either in Social development sector or in corporate/ institutions


Competencies


®    Good communication and presentation skills

®    Candidate should be a ‘people’s person’ - The basic requirement is passion to enable people to contribute towards development. Exposure to and knowledge of the development sector in the form of voluntary / work experience or a relevant academic qualification is a must.

®    Confident and self-driven

®    Should work with a ‘target’ based approach and capable of handling multiple activities simultaneously

®    Enjoy working with volunteers and working independently though within a larger team


Technical skills


®    Microsoft Office

®    Written and verbal English and fluency in the local language
