India Sudar - Social Welfare Organization
India Sudar is registered NGO started in 2004 by group of young like minded software professionals. Idea was to help the economically backward to pursue primary education.
Idea is to create a open charitable platform for the cause of providing primary edcuation, especially by working professional.
Main areas of action are :
- Deployment of teachers for selected village schools,
orphanages,India sundar Tuition centres),
- India Sundar computer training centre-provide consistent
and continuous educationl training.
- Providing books, notes, stationeries, school bags, school
uniforms and shoes for every academic year.
- Conducting seminars, self-development programs, cultural
programs, quiz programs and career development programs.
- Providing complete education for poor sttudents
Our work happens in 4 southern states of KA,AP,TN, Kerala besides pondicherry.

Hi,
It is great knowing you. I was just wondering how do you select the schools. If I know some good NGO schools can they apply to get some of this aid, like notes, school bags and so on.
We need more of such initiatives. There are too many groups with demand. A few that supply would definitely help! :)

Good to see you here in NGOpost. In addition to Goli's question, I would also like to know about how you interface with other NGOs that hold similar goals as yours. Do you share knowledge on how you go about handling the work (like how you provide education, or stationary ) and try to find out of the other NGO does a better job and adopt it?

Yes we do have partner organisations under our "Open Charity Platform". We work together both in terms of funding & execution. There is no issue in sharing our methodology. First we prepare a set of survey, then conduct one, based on requirements priorotize it(after all there is no unlimited resources).
By next time we conduct the drive our dream is to get more groups, corporates onboard so that we can atleast do for one full taluk or if possible district. This would give us a chance to show that all of us have a part in enhancing the quality of education !!

I am Sriniwas, from Dharwad, it is nice to be part of discussion , certainly we can help no. of poor children. I am associated with SEEDA is one of active ngo, based in Dharwad operating in northkarntaka districts. It is focussing mainly girl child education, Health education ,support to initiate small economic activities to improve their livelihood. We have made survey in Dharwad dist. 100 malnourished children, 115 - girl child, those who are not able to buy other necessery stationery materials, though govt. is proovided few study books[ not complete set].
