Merit Scholarships under Serial No. 1 are automatically awarded to the eligible students hence they are not required to
apply.
With regard to Scholarship from Sl. No. 2 to 6, applications are invited for grant of scholarship to be paid from April 1,
2012.
The detailed guidelines along with the requisite application forms are available on the Institute’s Website (www.icai.org)

Notes:
Applicants should be registered students of PCC/IPCC or Final Course.
Scholarship will be paid to IPCC/ PCC and Final students for a maximum period of 18 months and 30 months
respectively or balance period of their articleship.
An additional amount of `100/- p.m. will be paid to SC/ ST/ OBC students, under Need-based and Weaker
Sections Category. They shall have to enclose a certificate/ documentary proof duly attested by a gazetted officer
or a member of the Institute.
One scholarship under the Need-Based and Weaker Section Category is reserved for a Physically Challenged
student.
Duly completed and signed Application Forms in the prescribed formats (Form Number 3 & Form Number 4)
should reach the Director, Board of Studies, The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, ICAI Bhawan, A-29,
Sector-62, NOIDA-201309 latest by 31
st March, 2012.

Apply for the uni of your choice first , once you get the offer letter form that uni you can start applying for scholarships within that uni and in india as well.
You will need a good statement of purpose for the scholarship, as most of the funding houses will ask.
Please remember the well in advance you apply the better it is VERY IMPORTANT.
criteria ... there is no criteria for scholarsip. apply early and project the best of yourself. like national level sports or social work .

For UK, now the visa norms have changed. and it says if u are a masters holder , then u cannot do another masters in uk. Hence ,plan your options accordingly.
First kindly sort out the country in which you wish to apply. If your proposal is ready submit it to the uni. they have fully funded or partially funded Schemes.But it depends on the proposal and HOW EARLY TO APPLY TO an university.
Kindly, sort out with the choice of your country , in order to help further.

The Board of Trustees of The Chartered Accountants Students Benevolent Fund have decided to grant financial assistance to 200 students who are currently undergoing articled training in accordance with The Chartered Accountants Regulation, 1988 and are poor, needy but meritorious requiring financial assistance to pursue the Chartered Accountancy course @ Rs. 1500/- p.m. for one year with effect from October, 2010 to September, 2011 to be paid in lump sum.
The eligibility criteria for obtaining financial assistance from CASBF are be as under;
i) Passed 10 + 2 examination with a minimum of 70 percent marks and Passed Common Proficiency Test of ICAI in the first attempt
or
Passed B.Com Examination of a recognized University with a minimum of 60% marks.
ii) Currently undergoing articled training as per CA Regulations.
iii) Annual income of both parents from all sources be not more than Rs. 1.50 lakh.
Students who are needy, poor but meritorious and are fulfilling the above criteria may apply for financial assistance from the Chartered Accountants Students Benevolent Fund. I am Pramod Kumar.C.K. from Bangalore, Karnataka. I have completed my 10 th standard in ICSE with an aggregate of 86% and 86% in Science. Later, I completed my 12th standard (PUC) with an aggregate of 90.11% and 97.33% in Science. This score got me into the top 1% in my state, due to which I was awarded a scholarship of Rs.80,000 per year for 5 years to study BSc and MSc ( i.e. pure sciences) in any of the colleges in India. But I always wanted to get into the top Institutions in India that provide Aerospace Engineering i.e. the IITs. So soon after my studies, I made an attempt for the IITJEE in 2011. Unfortunately I was not successful. But I was cofident enough that I am capable of getting into the IITs. So I wanted to re-attempt for IITJEE the next year, which made me stay back for an year and just prepare for the entrance test. Even though I was successful this time, my results did not fetch me an Aerospace Engineering seat. But I am so desperate in pursuing Aerospace Engineering upto MEng. So I applied for Universities in UK through UCAS. Here the course I'm interested in is MEng in Aerospace with an year in Industry. This is a 5yr course = 4yr study + 1yr in Indusry. Actually, I have got "UNCONDITIONAL OFFERS" from University of Leeds, Loughborough, Leicester, Swansea and Sheffield. As I was implicated in other results and counselling, I was late for many of the Scholarships. Since I am from a typical middleclass Indian family, I am in great need of financial assistance. So I request you to help me create an opportunity to prove my worth.

respected sir/madam, this is venkatesh from gudiwada. i am complete my diploma in computer engineering branch(cse) with 81%. i got the ecet rank 217. now i get chance to study in srkr engineering college, bhimavaram in andra university. but my parents doesn't support to me because of the less income. but i am forcely joined in this college with a big dream to get job in campus interview with in releve the college in good company. iam finacially so poor because i am face so many problems like room rent, textbooks,,,,,,, i request any one plese help to me............
