Awards for Work on Education, Communal Harmony & Youth Empowerment ((tag: Funds Offered))
To commemorate the 25th anniversary of the Bahá'í House of Worship, the National Spiritual Assembly of the Bahá'ís of India, is instituting three
awards to honor individuals and/or organizations who have performed
outstanding service and have demonstrated their commitment in areas
which the Bahá'í community considers vital to the development of
humanity:

- Education of girls
- Empowerment of youth
- Promoting communal harmony
Anyone
can nominate candidates for these awards. For each of the awards, there
are special criteria that the nominees need to satisfy. These are
listed on the link above.
Preference
will be given to those who have not been recognized by other agencies
and entities through awards. The National Spiritual Assembly will
appoint a special panel of judges drawn from experts in the three fields
who will select the awardees from among the nominees.
Deadline: Aug 31
The
awards will consist of a certificate and a cash reward. These will be
presented at a public event to be held at the Bahá'í House of Worship,
New Delhi, on November 12, 2011.
