HIMserve, a Non-Profit Christian Charity Organisation is located in Siliguri, Darjeeling District, West Bengal, India. It is registered with the Government under the Societies Act XXVI of 1961, Foreign Contribution Regulation Act of 1976 and exempted under Income Tax Act of 1961.

The work of HIMserve is carried out by well equipped Christian staff with different expertise and qualifications, under the overall leadership of HIMserve Board. Presently HIMserve has 13 workers (12 Indians and one expatriate) engaged in the following fields of expertise: Holistic ministry teaching; Health; Children & Adolescent; Development; Agriculture; Animal Husbandry; Kitchen Gardening; Adult Literacy; Finance & Administration; etc.

HIMserve’s commitment to partnered communities

Ø  Remoteness, ignorance, poverty, superstition, corruption (from Govt. and other NGO services), lack of education and lack of opportunities have kept people in these areas from developing like people are doing in other parts of India.

Ø  Through our teaching, churches are just beginning to grasp the concept of God’s intention for the church within their own community (beyond purely evangelism).

Ø  HIMserve is committed to working with remote and rural churches/communities which have limited access to other facilities offered by the Government. We do this by using a holistic approach, focusing on the spiritual, physical and social needs of the people.
