My name is Vinay and i am a professional working with an MNC in Bangalore. I am relatively free on weekends and would love to devote time for the below fields-
a) Children education- though of great interest, based on prior experience, i have seen that teaching them on weekends actually delivers very little on the ground. Also the scale of change is very less. Like the CRY technique- where by they go after government for not doing its job (since it is the government's primary responsibility to impart education to the children-especially from the lower strata of the society). I would like to work with any NGO which has a similar idea to make a change in this field.
b) Tree plantation programs
c) serving old age homes.
I stay near Indiranagar and plan to devote approximately 4 hrs every weekend. I am also open to doing voluntary work from home on weekdays.
